About Us

Most students are well aware of the textbook game. Each semester they purchase their books, often spending hundreds of dollars. Then, when they go to sell them back, they’re offered next to nothing for them — all while the vendor then resells the books again to the next group of students at a high price.

eTassel was founded by a college administrator who felt there had to be a better way for students to buy and sell textbooks.

eTassel connects college students throughout the United States and gives them a free and dedicated way to buy and sell their textbooks with each other. eTassel helps students find the books they need and keep more money in their pockets each semester.
